Practising at home with the same Tx you use at the field is handy. PS always have your controller or Tx started up first - CV will boot and run without it but mine defaults to the throttle wide open so it's inconvenient and noisy until the Tx is ready. Actually my review says the sim 'isnt suited to learning advanced 3D', you could learn much faster with a more accurate flight model that includes instructions to tweak it to match your own model. It takes mine at least 30 seconds to start up, it's not so much CV itself but the Java and the 3D stuff for Java sub-system that has to initialise. RE: More models for ClearView RC Flight Simulator Skirtz, I assume you already have been told that stealing Reflex sceneries for your purpose could get you into deep legal trouble. The model format is the same as in ClearView. I am happy to tell you that Absolute RC Simulator now supports user created models.
